Duke City Advertising, the predecessor of Duke City Software, Incorporated was established in 2004 with the intent of providing on-line advertising to client companies.
In January 2005 the company expanded to developing custom software for web sites in addition to on-line advertising. Shortly thereafter, the focus on on-line advertising was dropped, and the company concentrated on developing web sites for clients, and providing custom software applications and enhancements through subcontracts to other web site development companies.
In March of 2008, the company name was changed to Duke City Software, Incorporated to more accurately reflect the mission of the company.
